aka Vitamin D. It aids in the absorbtion of calcium in humans. Anybody ever tried it with pumpkins?

Plants are able to produce vitamins & other stuff on their own. That’s one of the basic differences with animals… I write this because I was overdosed with one of the plant stuff yesterday - nicotine (I try to give up cigarettes so I use 0.5 % nicotine diluted in water…it is damn strong!)

Urban, i am a recovering tobbaco addict.2/3pk a day. 15 years clean now. Even now, when a -arlborogh light is lit up and i smell the poison my skin tingles. There is only one way to stop for good, take no nicotene. For awhile i ate green peppers first thing in the morning. I dont hang in smoky bars or rooms. When i am unfortunate to be around someone smoking i back up and get near fresh air. The "HABIT" is the nicotene. Not the smoking. peace and luck.
Do A.G.s-fruits-use the sun to produce vit.s?

All plants use the sun to produce vitamins including "D". They die to feed us, we die to feed them. We need each other. They do not need or benefit (much) from supplemental vitamins. The exception is "B" vitamins that can benefit propagation efforts.
