Big Kahuna 26

Ontario, Canada.

Only 26 pumpkins entered to date.

The goal of the study is to gather as much Day 10" CC data as possible. Finding any possible correlation between early size and final weights would result in early detection of good potential fruit. Much time and resources can be conserved by early detection of good potential fruit. Base goals of 60"cc at day 20 and 100" at day 30 are the current bench mark for a final good sized fruit.
Please post here your data for Day 10, 20, 30, 40CC" and final fruit sizes.

If I remember correctly, My 615 lber, had a 16.5" circ. by day 10. It was a slow and steady pumpkin.

thanks for 'making' me do this. it was great to go back and compare the 4 fruit bench-mark by bench-mark. I had only done that informally by flipping pages but this made me go and do it all together. i learned alot.

Im backing up Russ on this one...I've crunched the first 26 pumpkins worth of data and there is some AWESOME trends developing. But we need MORE MORE MORE....everyone who posts fruit growth is going to benefit from this. Im pleading with Russ to please dust off the old files and send us some more numbers!

Day 20: 82.5"
Day 30: 122.5"

578 Armstrong 2003 (from 500 Carlson)
Day 10: 31.5"
Day 20: 82.5"
Day 30: 108.5"

882 Armstrong 2004 (from 735 Pukos)
Day 10: 31"
Day 20: 79.5"
Day 30: 116.25"

i wish i had my pre 2003 fruit data. i guess saving these things on a disk is a good thing instead of keeping them on your hard drive. oh well, live and learn. i hope this helps.

Tom, we found one yesterday, but it was rather lacking on some of the information we need. Early Day10 measurements are what is missing most often. Joe has really done a fine job with the file and we are compiling the current data with some cool results so far. Any help you can offer would be tremendous.
