Keith, its true that regular pumpkin seeds are for the most part smaller then AG seeds......BUT i have seen some pretty puny AG seeds. my 684 seeds are easily as small as some regular pumpkin seeds. so basically, its going to be impossible for you to make the determination based upon what they look like. my only bit of advice is to not buy seeds that you think are AG's off of ebay. there are a TON of people out there who will give you great seed for the mere price of a self addressed stamped bubble mailer. Just look on this site for instance.

Kieth....If you go down to Kmart and buy a packet of shelf atlantic giant seed and compare them to some of our "normal" seeds, you'll see that the shelf seeds are very much smaller. Could be yours are from production seed....or shelf seed....grown year after year w/o regard for selection..........g

I also purchased seeds from ebay (I know better now). The seeds I recieved also looked small for what I was expecting. Going to plant(next year) a few to see what happens. But, I am going to concentrate on the seeds from this site. I'm just going to consider this a learning experience and not buy "off the shelf", "store", "ebay" again...Tom

Not all great seeds are small though. I have seeds from the 850.5 hester and they are very small. I know the 705 Stelts is also a small seed. Size does not really matter, it is the genetics that are inside the seed that counts. John
