I'm wondering how many growers on this site will grow their own seeds from 2004 and what is the cross of your seeds that your going to plant? I'm planting my own 926 Hunt/04 (1097.5 Beachy x 842 Eaton) and my 839 Hunt/04 (reverse cross of the 926). I will also be planting two proven seeds as well. I just can't decide which two they will be. I only got 5 months to decide.

Only have time for 5 plants. I was thinking of trying 3 of my 857.5 '04 (735 pukos x 502 Palbrach, i want to prove this seed) and maybe my 730.5 '04 (502 palbrach x self) or 515 est '04 (830 Neuville 03 x 735 pukos). Long time to decide yet, but I will grow a few 857's. Possibly sneak in some of my older seeds as well....494*, 502, 830?

I really like my 751 cros this year to trynext year, it is the same cross as the 1104 Hester (898 Knauss X 845 Bobier). Yes, I also will be putting in another 898 Knauss, another 845 Bobier, and another 805 Pukos. Leaves me room for my squash plant, and I am done. Yes, it will be another 895 Hester (third year ina row).

Only thing different from this years patch and next will be no 717 of mine, and no 723 Bobier. In place of the Bobier 723, I will plant one of my seeds (either 751 or 803), and in place of the 717, I may try my last 187 Lehman watermelon. Gourds are out this year. Too much frustration for me there!

My 710 Gipe (1097.8TC X 1061.5 TC) will be crossed both ways with our new 845 DiMarko (710 Gipe X 1051 Checkon. The 1051 Checkon is (845 Bobier X 723 Bobier). Hope the Steltz in the 1097.8 TC leaves a few nice shaper genes and orange genes.:)

This past season, I grew my own 527 Glisczinski '03 and took it to 855 lbs. I should just grow all 527's next season, but I also have to try my 855 (527 x 1097) and my 906 (1097 x 986 Checkon). My 353 (1016 x 735 Pukos) may get planted too.

My only seeds from this year are from my 227 Carnegie 04. I don't think they are worth planting, though. The genetics are 427 Groten 2000 (not sure about the year)x self, with the 427 Groten being 878.5 Greer x 946.5 Geerts. The 878.5 Greer is 697 Ciliberto x 946.5 Geerts, so the cross is 7/8ths 946.5 Geerts. Anyone who is interested can have some if they want, I won't be needing them.

Randoo's 353 (1016 x 735), the 735 male pollinator grew my 857.5 fruit. That same 1016 grew the 820.5 Glisczinski '04 (1016 x self). Some nice stuff. The 1016 was a pretty pumpkin and over charts too.

I need to fill up lots of space so the Cornerstone crew and I will plant the following seed from our own supply in 2005 in the 10 competition planting beds.

812 Landry 04 est, 1301 Eaton x 709 McCallum. This is a large size female x 34% heavy male pollinator.

781.5 Landry 04, 1156 Larsen x 1301 Eaton 5.2% HEAVY. The 1156 was also very heavy at 22% over the chart.

695* Landry/Lee 04, 771* Stellphlug x 675 Hester 9.4% Heavy. Still looking for a good pollinator for this plant. The 611.5 could be the pollinator since it has produced three 1000 pound fruit with many green genes the off-spring should stay green and larger in the future.

608 Landry/Lee 04, 767 Catapano x 608 Holland. at 16.6% heavy this pumpkin was hard as a rock. Sleeper of the patch
