I have never heard anything about the seed lot I won. I sent the confirmation email to matt winey, but have never got anything back about how or who to pay. I tried to send PayPal to matt winey email listed in the auction, but paypal lists the transaction as pending because they think someone is not using their service correctly??? I tried to get into the BHGPG seed raffle and emailed my lot picks to matt winey as instructed and asked how to pay, but again never heard a thing back and did not get entered into the lottery for 100.00 worth of chances I wanted because of no up front payment instructions and no follow up as to how or who to pay. I have a feeling that things are in a shambles.

Unfortunately same here. Won 2 lots, emailed them the following day for confirmation and payment details. Still no reply? Hopefully everything will get sorted out soon and nothing serious happened.

LJ, I had Pay Pal put a transaction pending earlier this year. I had my Pay Pal account linked to a Capital One credit card. I added and made a different credit card as the primary card to my Pay Pal account and I was able to start using Pay Pal again. My transaction pending did complete 24 hours later.

The lot I won in the BHGPG auction came to me with no problem.

Check preferred payment methods, cards, and also card expiration dates. I just got a notification from paypal about a card I have linked that is expiring at the end of the month to avoid problems sending and receiving $$. His paypal is mattwiney@yahoo.com

I've never had any issues with Matt's auctions. My bubble from the recent silent auction arrived yesterday.

PayPal is questioning just that transaction and is asking all sorts of questions about the sale?? Will probably get things sorted out on my end, really do not know what or why is going on. Nowhere in the auction description does it list how or who to pay, just to send a confirmation email. You would assume you would get a reply to the confirmation email on how/who to pay. We are not mind readers. I am sure Danny Dill and I are not the only ones wondering. We are not mind readers. Poor administration of the auction in my opinion.

Just got an email from paypal stating they have completed their investigation into the transaction and everything was deemed OK and the payment to matt winey has been sent. Things should be straightened out now, I think.

Thanks for the update LJ. I was getting concerned too regarding usual auction protocols. I do not even know the address and so forth which is clearly stated in all the other auctions that I have enjoyed participating in this past season. A confirmation reply was what I was waiting for?
