He wants to know if the guys in your area Glenn have the seed packs with pumpkin seeds and also watermelon seed in sets. Also the auction time for the seeds auction and when he can get that.
For someone in your area with the auction seed info and email.
For the pumpkin seeds and watermelon seeds.

I believe that there is going to be an auction, where the winning bidders will then get the seeds sent directly from the grower (in this case Fred/Tim) saving time and effort for the middleman handling the auction and collection of funds...right?

oops, hopefully I can solve some of the confusion: A few minutes ago I noticed that Fred did respond to a message from someone who was looking for auction seeds for Italy:

Fred, there you will find the contact email address, then you should be able to contact someone who could respond with some helpful details (hopefully).

Ok, a brief intro into the wonderful world of the "what happened above": Let´s start with So.Cal.Growers entry ";)", well, I think it means that something further up in the thread was funny (sort of), could have been taken as something serious (sort of) but wasn´t (definitely). Now let´s continue with marleys entry "both", that´s pretty clear, it refers to something related to a number like "two", probably the seeds 1495 and 904. Hence, something is wrong with those two seeds, or has been interpreted the wrong way. A potential answer is: THE ANSWER MUST BE "both", because both are Stelts seeds and a monobrow is a unique set which makes one out of two...you just can´t take one and skip the other...both are one, and just one is merely none, and seeds are representatives of the grower, and, and, and...and therefore So.Cal.Grower had to ";)". Everything else (the upper entries) are much more difficult to explain in detail. I better leave this to someone else who wants to do that.

J.S., I better don´t tell you what I wanted to tell you right now as I read your comment. Just kidding is one thing, drinking is another, but the one with the name which had been on ignore mode in various cases...this goes way tooooo faaaar! No, I don´t know anything about his current world record which was too heavy for the cranes to lift it onto decent scales. The only thing I know is, in his last breaths on BP he seemed to dislike things like GPC, and therefore he probably wouldn´t have attended a GPC event. The maths equation derived therefrom is: He grew a WR = he won´t let it enter a GPC weigh-off. Did you see his WR on the 2012 GPC list? The answer is NO! Hence, according to above equation he must have grown a WR, because he hasn´t entered his WR pumpkin into a GPC weigh-off, right?

Just for the entertainment of those who joined BP during the past couple of months, and probably haven´t noticed the scientific entries of the "a-man", he used a specific vocabulary...an example is given above: "dung mound". We could use the abbreviation d/m for dung mound. There are a couple of further things which consist of more than one word, and as you read them you would relate them to the "a-man". Now the big question is, what might be hidden behind the following abbreviations:
1) b/a 2) f/a 3) b/s 4) a/h/n 5) m/s (probably one of the favorites) 6) s/s/'s' 7) o/a 8) p/c 9) s/p 10) s/y/o/s (yes, that´s tricky)
...and this brings us back to the reason why this thread is in the Seed Auctions and Raffles section...all current BP members are welcome to send me an email with their suggestions for answers 1) - 10) (deadline will be Sunday Nov. 18th, midnight...wherever you´re sending your email from), and the participant with most hits will win a couple of my 907 Wagler 11, 710 (uow/dmg) Wagler 12 and 148 (uow) Wagler 12 seeds (and in case of many participants with the highest number of hits, the earliest entry will win)...I will take care of postage. Yes, the 907 is a (1385 x 1161) x (1385 x 1161), awesome, isn´t it? The 710 is 1789 Wallace 'Freak' x 1723 Marshall, and the 148 is the little genetics pumpkin on a secondary of...here it comes...1789 Wallace 'Freak' x self.

BTW, your comment makes me conclude that you also lost contact with the "a-man" and don´t know if he had grown a decent sized white giant, right? (...as far as I recall, there was a period when he was aiming at a white giant...but his name has not appeared on the list of pumpkins entered in the LEGOLAND weigh-off, which, as far as I recall, was the weigh-off he wanted to attend...long long time ago, before he probably changed mind.

Thank you WiZzy for this helpful input. Looks like a new strategy of AG optimization. Why? The toilet seat reference made me recall this pic here (and see the text below):
http://www.bigpumpkins.com/DisplayPhoto.asp?pid=4792
...and someone who wants to develop his own way of optimization might easily go from the "velvet cusion vs. pumpkin" comparison to the "toilet seat vs. pumpkin" comparison as a quality criterion. It´s kind of an optimization towards practical use. (It´s just a few years to go, then you´ll find them in all higher quality builders stores...right next to the toilet seats. Believe me, WiZzy!)

Hate to change the subject, But I had an idea on a big money maker for our pumpkin clubs. A monthly calender with a different growers picture on each month. Seems like a sure fire money maker to me. I already am voting for Mr October.

Fred really is a nice guy. I have met him at several weigh-offs. He loves this hobby and the man doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Know what I mean ?

If we get to oversensitive. And start jugging joking as good or bad. There will be no humor on this site. Its the mistakes that sparks spontaneity and wit. History on this site shows that it will happen again and again.

I have humor, heck just look at our diary from the past couple of years. The problem is one might see it as joking but to another it is not. We are adults here are we not? You can joke but when the joke keeps going on and on and inbetween them jokes you(not anyone specific)(maybe not meaning to) bring up stuff(again that seems funny to you) that the person you are joking about, its not right guys and you know it. Read these words(I know it is a bit long) and if you feel the same after reading these words, them I am sorry..(I'm just a mother too with a child with special needs) Tina :)

The Special Mother Did you ever wonder how mothers of disabled children were chosen? Somehow I visualize God hovering over the earth selecting his instruments of propagation with great care and deliberation. As He observes, He instructs His angels to make notes in a giant ledger. "This one gets a daughter. The Patron saint will be Cecelia" "This one gets twins. The Patron saint will be Matthew" "This one gets a son. The Patron saint.....give her Gerard. He's used to profanity" Finally He passes a name to an angel and smiles. "Give her a disabled child". The angel is curious. "Why this one God? She's so happy" "Exactly," smiles God. "Could I give a disabled child to a mother who does not know laughter? That would be cruel!" "But has she patience?" asks the angel. "I don't want her to have too much patience or she will drown in a sea of sorrow and despair. Once the shock and resentment wears off, she'll handle it. I watched her today, she has that feeling of self and independence that is so necessary in a mother. You see, the child I'm going to give her has his own world. She has to make him live in her world and that's not going to be easy."

"But Lord, I don't think she even believes in you" God smiles, "No matter, I can fix that. This one is perfect - she has just enough selfishness" The angel gasps - "Selfishness? is that a virtue?" God nods. "If she can't separate herself from the child occasionally she won't survive. Yes here is a woman whom I will bless with a child less than perfect. She doesn't realize it yet, but she is to be envied. She will never take for granted a 'spoken word'. She will never consider any 'step' ordinary. When her child says "Momma" for the first time she will be present at a miracle and will know it. I will permit her to see clearly the things I see...ignorance, cruelty and prejudice...and allow her to rise above them. She will never be alone. I will be at her side every minute of every day of her life because she is doing my work as surely as if she is here by my side" "And what about her Patron saint?" asks the angel, his pen poised in mid air. God smiles "A mirror will suffice"

Tina, that was touching and very well said. Most all of us need to make a better effort to be aware of the feelings of other people we come in contact with. It is called empathy. There is a little old lady at the nursing home my mother is in. I used to hear her day after day making groaning sounds that sounded plain evil to me. I used to hardly ever even look her way. One day I saw a nurse interacting with her. The old lady had a smile on her face and thanked the nurse and blessed her. After that my opinion of her was totally changed. I go out of my way to greet her every day and I always give her a small piece of chocolate which she dearly loves. She always smiles and thanks me several times. I am so glad I finally realized she is just a lonely old woman in the middle stages of dementia who really appreciates anyone who is willing to stop and ask how she is doing today. I now know who she really is and am grateful I found out.

Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. (And there family's)
