Back by popular demand is the Giant Vegetable Growers of Ontario "proven" seed raffle. This year we are going back to old style raffle from a couple years ago, with tons of great seeds and lots of winners. Everything from "oldies but goodies" to the newest "hot" seeds will be up for grabs. One ticket will be drawn for each seed on the list so everyone has a great chance of winning an awesome, line-up changing seed.

We have quite a few great seeds already but we need your help to make the list even bigger and better. We are looking for donations of any good "proven" seeds. We're raising the bar a little so this means if they have grown a 1200 pound pumpkin or a 1000 pound squash they can be included in this raffle. Check your seed stash and send a few good ones our way. Every seed donated will get you 1 ticket in the raffle (max 5 tickets) so make some use of those seeds you don't plan on planting and you never know what you might win. Tickets will be for sale at $5 each or 5 for $20. You can check your seeds at www.aggc.org or http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/ to make sure they meet our requirements.

Raffle date will be announced soon. It is usually @ Dec 1st to Jan 15th, so I expect it'll be @ that date.
