Ian Paton from near Lymington in Hampshire is claiming a new record of 819lbs.
Weighed on certified scales at a local event on sat.2nd Oct.
Grown in a polytunnel from a 93? seed from Howard Dill.
My parents are on holiday just down the road so I sent them around to check it out and they tell me its real.
We'll be hearing more about this one over the next few days.
