Hi all. I have one of these growing in a large 40l odd potato grow bag on my garage roof. I did have 2, but wind killed one and split the main vine on the survivor. However that vine is doing well and around 2m with 3 pumpkins on it. I have a 2nd vine with one on it but would expect another 2 or 3. Now a 3rd vine has appeared with a pumpkin forming on it.
How many pumpkins can I have before they become stunted and useless? There is not a lot of info online. I think they can grow to 15lb, but I'd rather smaller ones tbh, but still want them to be tasty and have decent seeds.
Any advice would be very appreciated.

If you want them small you are in luck, just keep them all. That will limit their size. They should still mature and be perfectly sweet. Make sure your plant has enough water and nutrients, because in a grow bag they can dry out really quickly. An overbearing plant may naturally abort a few pumpkins on it's own. Especially if it is under environmental stress. Like not enough water.

Brilliant thanks. They are getting about 4l a day in those bags of feed. I use Plagron Grow and just switched to Alga Bloom. I feed them daily as they are in pots.
