The end of the season is here. Just for the fun, can we guess the weight of that beetroot , onion and pumpkin ? http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=148709 http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=148720 http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=148711 I will weigh them later in the week.
The winner will be kissed by Kaarina, our fantastic president and will receive a 1611 Daho 09 :-)

Well, it's time now to annonce the name of the winner. When I said , I wasn't agree for the pumpkin guess,It meant too high ! lol Yep the photo is taken with a deep angle with a semi-pro camera. The fruit looks huge but it's not. It taped 1200lb but the scale today said 1017lb. The 1161 Rodonis was a super plant. Late June, the mainvine tip and some laterals burnt during a very hot day ( 35°C outside and 55°C inside the tunnel opened) I trained the last lateral has a mainvine and wait a female. It happened on the 15 of july. Then, Moles and voles arrived in the patch, and ate most of the roots system. A true nightmare ! However, the fruit keeps growing slowly up to sunday 31 october 2010 but was a ballon. Sorry and Thanks Bill.
And the winner is............................. Owen !
Thanks to all for all that fun ! Mehdi ( your reverse sandbagger lol )

Well, I figured the onion was about 2.8, but 2.81 and 2.82 had already been chosen, so I had to go for 2.83. The beetroot was the easy one. It looked a bit bigger than mine this year, so had to be 12.35. :) Missed out on the pumpkin though.
