They win the GPC UK weigh off with their monster 1180Pukos pumpkin at 1504lb. Unfortunately It went light.
Second is Marc Mansbridge 814lb and third David Thomas at 798lb.

a 1504 lb er is a absolutely amazing pumpkin to grow, espically with the very little space that you guys use to grow your plants in,,, Amazing!!, my hats off to you!

Look at the space he grows in,,,how many sq ft is that Ian?
400 to 500 sq ft tops?

Thanks for all the kind words. All the other growers did a fantastic job and without exception every one is looking forward to next spring.
That patch is about 700sqft and the plant I would say is the usual about 600sqft

I had a great day at the weigh off and your pumpkin was an absolute monster.
My wife saw me on Gardeners world last Friday and said I looked like a tart !
It was probably the 7 hour drive plus 4 cans of Red Bull !
