When to stop thats the question?
Are you going for that square footage you had in mind? say maybe 700!
Or are you stopping your plant with a minnimum square footage when your pumpkin has got to cerain size? or at a certain growing rate?

any good suggestions?

I use to let plant grow as big as it can,and fill out the empty space in patch, but when pumpkin is 30 days old I stopp the last vines and concentrate growing fruit.

Thanks I was thinking to do it at 20 days but 30 days would give me a beter filled patch indeed.

Maybe I'll do it step by step with a few secondarie each day till they are all dead headed.

thanks again
