To all European Growers-
Want the chance to win 2000 Euros (another 1000 if your AG weighs over 600 kilograms) and be shown live on TV when you do it?
On 14 October in Ludwigsburg, Germany the weigh off will be televised live. As this is a GPC event it is open to all growers. This is our chance to make some big publicity about our hobby.
Last year we had growers from Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Poland, Spain, and Slovenia.
Looking forward to all European growers showing up this year, so come on Denmark, Holland, France, England, Irland, Italy and all you other European growers.
For more information go to http://www.juckerfarmart.de/kuerbisevents/kuerbisevents.php and click on the http://www.juckerfarmart.de/kuerbisevents/em_kuerbiswiegen.pdf link. It is in German, so if you need some interpretation help just send me an email at giantsquash@googlemail.com

Thanks Owen, for this interesting information, another ride to Germany would be nice and sure if there is a nice big pumpkin from a Frisian Island, which, by the way don't belong to Holland, but the Netherlands, just to know. Ludwigsburg would be a good choice to have a nice trip, for sure. Lets see what this summer will bring, April was extreme warm and dry, May brought anough rains now, let the real summer start!
Tomorrow I should have the small greenhouse ready and the plants surely should go there. (Last week one day with max 11 degrees Celcius) The pots where they are in now are too smaal now..
Everybody good luck and more to say before Ludwigsburg...
Theo.
