Today i inspected my 884 x 1446 and it had a soft spot. In a few days she will collapse. What a bummer!!

That's too much of bad luck to take it, Jan! I'm truly sorry to hear it! Would have been awesome to have a third member in the official 1000 pound club in Europe! And not even one week before the weighoff, but others have lost big ones the day before the weighoff, I know...

Heino, I was referring to the number of growers who have grown official, undamaged 1000 pounders rather than the total number of 1000 pound pumpkins grown in Europe. I was thinking of Carlos P. and myself but forgot that Fabrice B. had an official 1000 pounder last year... so we have three growers in Europe who already had sound 1000 pounders and Jan would have been the fourth.

Martin, I was certainly suspecting your 801 passing the 1000 lbs mark too ;-))

ok, I now see what caused the confusion... unfortunately I think there is no way the 801.5 will make 1000 lbs...

Jan, the answer to your question from you diary:
987.7 VanRompaey 05 Est It would only get the Dmg entry if you had weighed her.
Sorry she went down on you.
