I will be using a new patch in 2006 and was wondering what would be the best things to use to get the soil supercharged for that season. I can get horse and cow manure, Leaf Mold, Compost, topsoil, and any kind of cover crop.
Any Help would be greatly appriciated!

Thanks,
Mikkal

Soil test first to get some base line figures.

If the Horse manure is well aged, I'd grab that first. More potash than Cow.

If not, grab that Cow manure.

Get the leaf mold & compost too.

Does this mean you have all of 2005 to work the soil before growing?
