I recently got my soil test back. Most of it looks pretty good, although my nitrogen is pretty low. Nitrogen 17 ppm Phospherous 60 ppm Potassium 600 Sulfur 20 Calcium 5670 Magnesium 689 Iron 19.9 Copper 2.16 Zinc 8.73 Boron 1.4 Manganese 10.3
Ph7.6 OM 4.6% EC 1.69
I added lots of horse manure, compost and leaves last fall and it brought my organic up from 2.9, but my ph went up from 7.5 to 7.6 Are my salts getting a little high? I've got plenty of horse manure and lots of cheap mushroom compost available. Should I put those in, or just stick to compost, peat moss and leaves? My soil is pretty sandy. Would this cause the nitrogen to leach out quicker? I managed to squeeze almost 800 lbs on this soil this year. Thanks for the help, Alan
