My Western Labs results show an extremely high level of potassium. 1559 ppm. Any thoughts on how to lower or counteract such a high level?

Manganese is supposed to help regulate potassium. I had an area test at 1200 ppm and it didnt cause noticeable problems so hopefully if everything else is balanced you can manage with it. Did everything else test normal?

I'll look into manganese, thanks! Sodium is also high (547 ppm). Other than that, things look normal.

Gourdo, please don’t try and “correct” something like your perceived high potassium levels by trying to add other nutrients or micronutrients as you will likely throw everything else out of whack in the process.
You potassium levels and sodium levels will balance out over time and will leach down to a more moderate level over time. Potassium leeches quite readily and is something I need to add in copious quantities each year.
Again, please don’t try and balance one high number by screwing up your other numbers by acting too hastily.
You will have a great year, water a little more than usual and all will be fine.

I dont think southern cal gets enough rain to leach anything... and I dont know if you are allowed to irrigate that much.

17:42 manganese regulates potassium
I used Hollands biomin manganese and thought it was a good product. But, yes if you overapply one thing, it throws the entire chemistry off and it becomes an ungodly game of whack-a-mole.

Right, yeah, like no rain at all. We can irrigate for now, but there's a strong possibility there will be some rationing this summer.
