Have my soil test results. All was in lbs/acre so what is the conversion for ppm. The lady at the lab told me it was "x" lbs/acre times two to get "y" ppm. My calcium was over 3500 lbs/acre so that would make it over 7,000 ppm. Is this correct?

1 acre equals 40000 sq ft reduce it till you get to the size of your patch

I did a search and here are the results... Also in hectacre and Kilos. I guess the lady should have told me to divide by two not multiply by two.

Area Soil Depth Soil Weight
1 acre 6-7 inches 2 mil lbs.
1 hectare 15-18 cm 2.25 mil Kg

ppm lb/Acre Kg/Hectare
1 2 1.13
0.5 1 0.565
0.88 1.77 1

My cut and paste did not work the way I wanted it to. But 1 ppm is equal to 2 lbs/acre or 1/2 ppm is equal to 1 lb/acre.

PPM times 2 = Pounds per Acre
