Hi guys,
Was wondering if anyone could tell me what the benefits/problems would be with adding Magnesium Sulfate to the soil to increase Magnesium levels would be. That would mean it would alter pH, and I was wondering what the effects of MGSO4 are on soil pH. I am looking to increase my levels of Mg about 100-150 ppm.

Impact on pH is practically nonexistent. Dolomitic Limestone, even at lighter rates, will speak to the Mg need.

Then in-season tissue analysis can identify the need for foliar Mg if warranted.
