Got my latest soil test back. I would greatly appreciate anyone willing to offer their 2 cents. I'm going to add another 40lbs of Calcium I think, but open to all suggestions. I am digging my hole next week and am thinking about scraping the top off of the patch into the hole and bringing in unknown compost to till in to the clay from the hole for the rest of the patch.
Many Thanks,
Matt Wickless

Yikes. Matt, You might need more Calcium than that. At least consider a tissue test early in the season. You can always foliar spray Chelated Calcium this year.

Thanks Steve! That was my inclination too, but I was a little afraid of over doing it. I've ordered chelated calcium already for this year. As bad as it is, it's a dream compared to where it was in November.
