What´s the size of your patch? What´s the size of your teaspoon? Any kitchen/household scales available for small weights?

Borax is 11.3% boron but Solubor is 20% boron . 4 lb of borax per 1000 sq. feet will raise your soil ppm by 1.0

.64 ounces to raise .1 ppm per 1000 sq ft, you can get digital scales for 25$ I bought these 2 years ago and they work great so easy to use you probable don't need the directions

Ian and I would make a spring amendment using borax but later micro adjust it by watering on borax. We find that boron rapidly disappears from our patch and we have to top it up during the season. We would typically water on 10oz borax per patch to bring the level up 1ppm ish. Two weeks later we will test again and do another adjustment if nesasary. Hope this helps Stewie
