What are the general guide lines for adding amendments for every cubic foot of soilless media? I have a 16 ft. by 12 ft. by 1 ft sq. foot garden. I plan on using 1/3 compost half will be leaf and the other black cow, 1/3 peat and 1/3 sand and vermiculite. The amendments I will use: kelp, granular humic, crab meal 4-3-0, azomite, fish bone meal 3-16-0, gypsum, spring wake up, langbeinite. I also need to know what type of lime to use? This will be for giant pumpkins. Thanks.

No expert here, but general guide lines are to have a soil test done!! Then add what is needed! Adding anything with out a soil test is just a guess? Peace, Wayne PS...not sure what soilless media is & not sure how big 16 ft. by 12 ft. by 1 ft sq. foot is?
