Plot is ~800 sq'. I've added 40 pounds of lime and will add another 40 this fall after growing season. The soil is extremely sandy so I've added around 2000 lbs of composted cow manure mostly to the front half to increase organic matter. I'll be adding more of that this fall as well, mostly to the back half, maybe another ton. For fertilizer I used 36 lbs of an organic 5-2-0 with 4% iron and 1.2% calcium. I also added 3 lbs of Jobe's Biozome microbial cocktail which is also a 2-7-4 fertilizer. I've also thought about bringing in some topsoil to mix in. The reason being is that the soil stays so loose that my corn really took a beating in the couple storms we've had lately. Anybody want to take a stab at all that?
