pumpkindad, look to increase your phosphorous level with bonemeal or something high in P. what is your soil, clay?

I would leave the phosphorus alone. If anything, increase your Potash.. get it up to around 10 percent

Yes - we're in a high clay area. Thing is, it is old farmland so I'm not sure why the soil isn't better.

What about the Magnesium? Seems *really* high to me. Is there a way to leech some of it out of the ground? Or do I just need to mix in a lot of compost and organic matter and let time do the rest?

I hit the area with fish fertilizer today. Really the only big problem remaining is the high Mg level. Wish I knew how to lower it.

Your calcium to mag ratio is 7.2 to 1. Thats pretty close to the ideal of 6.5/1.Your mag level is good. You can add monoammonium phosphate for the phos. Lower your ph with elemental sulfur.Overall good looking soil test.
