Many agrinomists are putting more emphasis on micronutrients. Here on Bp.com we read a lot on the big 3, calcium, magnesium, andpotassium. But not as much detail said about micronutrients. They are important but at far less levels. My question is for the longtime growers. What have you done in working with micronutrients? Have you brought them to the high end if the soil range to mimic the macronutrients? Do you apply them foliar to compensate? Thank you in advance for your responses.

Bry I'm not a long time grower of pumpkins,2nd.year ,best so far 1166,but I have grown organic produce commercially for 12 yrs.The product I use for micronutrients is greensand,it is a natural source of potasium, but is used more for a source of micronutrients. It can be applied any time,it becomes part of your soil,is not that expensive. It is not for foliar applications. It can be added to your compost piles to save the chore of spreading it twice. I hope this helps. Terry

Not a heavy hitter, but, I use this stuff seaagri.com dehydrated seawater, many trace minerals, it is worth going to the web site and reading about it, safe to use if you follow directions, cheap also.

Bryan, we have been talking about Microtech CT which provides all of the essential micronutrients for a few years now, and it is part of our fertilizing program.
