I recieved my soil tests back today. After the 4 yards of compost I have applied recently and the chicken manure, everything seems High except Potassium, Calcium, and Magnesium.
A & L reccomended Gypsum and Potash (both I already have in my garage). They warned my salt levels are high. Is there a way to lower salt?

After tilling in these amendments this weekend, will it be too early to plant my winter rye?

gypsum will help....leaching out is a plus if the soil is deep enough to let it drain out. wouldn't be surprise if some of the amendments pushed it up.
