Here are my test results Plants had main vine only no secondary vines, about 50-75 leaves . Patch is 10' wide by about 40'long but pumpkins were only in about a 10 by 10 space. I just added about 2 yards of chicken manuer and 2 yards of compostthis week. ANY THOUGHTS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED Organic matter 14.2 Nitrogen 24 Phosphorus weak brey 188 Phosphorus 117 Potassium 841 Magnesium 560 Calcium 3320 Sodium 66 Sulfer 29 Zinc 6.2 Manganese 3 Iron 50 Copper 2.9 Boron 1

Jeff, Throw on your cover crop and re-test in the spring...Looks like your soil is in a good shape..make whatever small adjustments in the spring...

after comparing to several books and on this web site i agree the soil seems good. These values are pre compost and chicken manuer so the spring test shoudl be good. cant figure out why i had such poor plant and pumpkin growth despite all other plants in teh same garden doing well. I have to look to the seed as being the problem.
