Here are my test results Plants had main vine only no secondary vines, about 50-75 leaves . Patch is 10' wide by about 40'long but pumpkins were only in about a 10 by 10 space. I just added about 2 yards of chicken manuer and 2 yards of compostthis week. ANY THOUGHTS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Jeff, Throw on your cover crop and re-test in the spring...Looks like your soil is in a good shape..make whatever small adjustments in the spring...

after comparing to several books and on this web site i agree the soil seems good. These values are pre compost and chicken manuer so the spring test shoudl be good. cant figure out why i had such poor plant and pumpkin growth despite all other plants in teh same garden doing well. I have to look to the seed as being the problem.
