Nathan,

I would add 80 lbs of lime per 1000 ft2 this fall. I would also try to find some well composted manure or compost if you can't get manure. 2-4 yards per 1000ft2 if you can find it. Work it all in and retest in the spring.

Thanks guys. A and L recommended 90lbs per 1000 but I thought that was a little high. CountyKid, I think I will go with your recommendation of 80lbs per 1000 and test in spring to see where I am at. I don't know where I can get good manure or compost now, but I do know in the spring there will be a place. Do you think I can wait until spring to add compost? Can't believe how low the PH was, that is suprising, but it was a pasture prior, so I understand it could be a little off. Thanks for all your guys' insight!

Thanks,
Nathan

Its always better to add sooner, but if you can only get the material in the spring, add it then.
