If you have the ability to till it in I don't think you can have too much manure. If you can apply this fall, then it won't be considered "hot", better for the plants.

You can apply 6-8 yards of well composted manure per 1000 square feet, in the fall and till in. I have dones this several times in the past with no negitive issues. If the manure is less composted I would be very careful about over application.

a Yard is 3 cubic feet or a 3ft by 3 ft area 3 ft high or 27 cubic feet
