After over a month waiting on the soil test I just received them back. Very disappointed with the information and how they display it. After seeing all your A&L lab reports I think they give much more information.
Sample A- Old Patch
soil type- Silt Loam PH 6.75 lime requirement index 7.70 (adams-evans LRI) ??? Macro nutrients lbs/acre P 108 optimum K 313 above opt mag 766 above opt Cal 6465 above opt by Mehlich 3 extraction Micros PPM zinc 18 copper 3.9 Mang 52 Boron 4.6 iron 325 all listed as adequate but iron was High
electrical conductivity sol salt 0.15 mmho/cm satisfactory loss on ignition OM 21.78% Organic Carbon 12.63%
recommendation P and K are to high...No LIme, add 13 lbs of 15-0-0 and 5 lbs of 0-20-0
Seems funny to me that they warn that my P is to high and tell me to add it in....Also I have no CEC information. for base saturation...I think there are formulas for this somewhere but you would think it would be here.
Thanks any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated..will do the next patch in next post...OM is crazy there. Chuck
