I never really thought about this before, I just assumed. When I have been calculating the ratios, I have been using the measured ppm. Is that right? Am I supposed to use the base saturations instead?
Thanks

I thought so, just wanted to confirm. Thanks.

The reason I ask is I have received a soil test from a grower, and it seems that for the K/Mg ratio, the lab used the saturations.
OM 7.1 P Bicarb 58 P Bray 177 K 386 Mg 335 Ca 2360 Na 30 pH 7.3 CEC 15.7 Al 251
%K 6.3 %Mg 7.8 %Ca 75.1 %Na 0.8
K/Mg Ratio 0.35 (6.3/7.8) not 386/335....
Interesting.
