I heard on the radio today that a major grainery in town has soy bean meal for sale. They also advertised soybean husk pellets. Are either of these any good as soil additives? I know some folks add alfalfa meal and kelp meal. Thanks for any info. Peace, Wayne

Wayne typical analysis runs 7-2-1 for soybean meal, I used it last year for the first time,,,another topping on the pizza the way I look at things. Remember to keep a record of all the additives to come up with the numbers you are seeking,,,,

I put a heavy dose of it around my fruit trees a couple years ago... There is still a noticeable ring of greeneer thicker grass around the trees. I like it.

It moves around from 10 -12$ a 100# here. Usually just a bit higher than cottonseed meal.
