I have a % saturations of K 2.8, Mg 10.8, Ca 86.4. How is this information useful? Is this a better indication of what is available to my plant compared to lbs/acre and why? Are my results good are needy? :} sorry too many questions as usual KathyT

The % saturation is only an indication of where you can take the soil with inputs. Today's soil scientists no longer put much stock in these measures. They were popular around 40 years ago. Search the word "Albrecht" here at BP & elsewhere & you'll find that not many of the serious players get hung up on Albrecht's ratios any more.
All we need to do is meet the minimum requirements without going over board.
I prefer to work with "pounds per acre" but because of A&L, most growers use "PPM". Either can be used.
