What do u suggest to do if u end up being stuck growing in a patch that got pledged with dieases, mosiac,yellowing leaves. I might have no choice but to grow there, its getting late to start new patch and things not workign out, last year too wet and cold to spray round up to start and now its late, one month before they go in.. Is there things u can do to help prevent that coming back if u keep spraying etc. need input. I have one end of patch that didnt grow in but i know it still spreads lol

You might try Garlic Barrier to repell aphids. CMV is aphid vectored. There are only a few rare virusus that are soil borne. Did a lab confirm the type?

i am going to take a soil sample this week, and send it away to find out, then go from there. I know i will half to get rid of clipings properlly, so it wont attrack anything ie: blosoms
