Im doing test (now) to see if these different soils will grow about the same, or not!! Im starting 30 seeds & i will pick 18 of them that germanate at same time to conduct test,. Ill use 6 different kinds of soils X 3 ea, --- Each soil will be mixed with one half seed start mix & one half soils as follows - patch soil, molded oak leaves, cow manure, eucaliptus mulch, pepper tree mulch, & pine tree mulch ! ,, mainly i want to see if its true what some say - that euc & pine isnt good , results coming !! glenn

Ok we have germanation, Im stiil amazed at how these thinks go from seed to 3 in root in 48 hours , acttuly i started 50 seeds & so far 46 have sprouted 2-3 in roots in 48 hours from time water first hit them !! there now in there test 3 in peat pots , they will start to be root bound by tomarrow , but ill leave them there for a while to see how they react to the 6 kinds of soils !! Ill post soon to let know results !!

well its now been several days, & the euk & the pine are both doing best !! theres no different treatment, there all in one 18 pk of 3in peat pots !! well ill keep posted !
