pH is somewhat higher than most people like it, usually 6.8-7 is the range. AleX Noel.

Bob,
It would be nice to lower that pH some. Not knowing the percent Organic Matter makes this difficult.
If your soil is high & OM, I'd knock the pH with small amounts of sulfur. If S is already high, then aluminum sulfate will introduce less S (by comparisson).
If the %OM is low, then adding organic amendments will have a slow but steady affect of the pH. Composted Peat & Pine needle based organic material will still be somewhat acidic.
