If it decomposes, put it in your compost piles. The wider the variety of composting components, the wider the variety of nutrients there will be in the finished compost.

Go on line and buy the book: Let it Rot, Campbell. It can be purchased under ten bucks slightly damaged. This one inexpensive book is very good.

Once the ingredients have broken down into Satble Organic Matter, it won't matter a hill of beans what their origins were. The only time the ratio of "green vs brown" matters is during the composting process irtself. But it matters an awful lot during that time. What sort of greens & browns only matters from a percent lignin & potential acidity basis. Having "light & fluffy" ingredients helps since the pile statys more aerobic with less turning. Other than that, don't sweat the ingredients. Just make sure to keep herbicides, fats & oils out of the pile.
