This past summer, I met a pack of girl scouts interested in starting big pumpkins. We often haul water from the forest preserve where they were meeting and had a wonderful opportunity to talk.

I want to continue to offer our seeds to young groups of interested growers as a chance to experience the fun of growing a possible giant. If your group is Boy or Girl Scouts or 4H, etc, please feel free to email me at -

If you need seeds Biddy, I have lots from my pumpkins last year I'd be willing to donate. I had five plants they all made it over 1000 lbs but I'm certain their capable of growing larger. My email is [email protected]

Thank you guys! I have filled a request for a very eager youth group (Kentucky) and a young 4-H group (Georgia) ready to take on growing big pumpkins. I am really excited to share more from them and other groups as the growing season gears up. I will definitely reach out to you, Hobbit, very soon!
