Subject: When and what to prune off?

Tis the season and been discussed before but wanted to get a refresher course. When and what do you prune off(secondary, leaf, tendril) around your 'chosen one'? Before pollinating while growth is small? Wait until you are sure pollination takes? All growth? Some? Fungicide application afterward? Appreciate your input.

I take off the tendril, secondary and leaf as soon as possible on "the chosen one" because the smaller they are when you trim them, the smaller the resulting "scar" that will remain as the pumpkin and plant grows.
Check out this link, I trimmed this one early so there would be no issues later.
