I'm thinking about doing them in big pots 17 gallon pots that should be enough soil?
What sort of fert regime did you use?

Going Green

Stillman....I grew the German Giant Radish which claims to grow baseball in size and loves heat. It stores better and longer than other giant radish. There are German Giant seeds and 39.8 cantaloupe seeds in the Engels Giant seed exchange and everyone who I send Cantaloupe seed to gets German Giant Radish also. I have grown them as big as my fist and they get milder the bigger they get. I do not use and additional fertilizer other than Rabbit poo in ever raised bin in the fall and again in the spring. Currently I am building an additional 12 raised beds which are 4 ft. by 4 ft. and 18 inches tall. I am making these out of cutouts for sinks by a local cabinet maker.
