I expanded my patch this year it is my second year. And last year I use the flag pattern on a 12'X25' patch. I now have a 22X 25 patch that narrows down to 12'. Should I do the X-mas tree pattern with 10' of secondaryor flag pattern with 17' of secondaries?

i went with a plan last year of an inverted L pattern in an effort to maximize utilization of my mishaped patch. It didnt take into account the shade of a pole for early morning sun on the stem. Sunday, i will set out for this year. My planned pattern isnt finalized yet. I think that there isnt one best pattern...for each patch is unique.
