I measure using the OTT charts twice a day. From what I've been seeing I will just nudge over 150 lbs this Sunday on day 25. I'm shooting for a weigh off on September 24th. I have friend, family and co-workers asking me what I think it'll weigh and I have no clue what to tell them with this being my first year. Anyone care to give a guestimate so I can maybe have a rough answer to throw back? Barring any catastrophic ends to the season that is...

Post some pics of your plant. A lot of factors involved in final weight, but it sounds like you might have a shot at 500#.
See ya at Coop!
oh, and quit measuring twice a day, it will drive you nuts. twice a week or so is fine.

My goal for this year was to hit 500#'s. A woodchuck did quite a bit of damage to most of my plants and even this plant got a little pruning from him. I finally got him. This was also a learning year. I knew that from the start. You sure learn a lot the first year. I downloaded a spreadsheet that does all the math for you... the reason I measure so often. The more I measure the more I learn. Here's a photo I just took this morning...

Hee Hee Wayne, Yes,, relax I did the math on mine once. I think it is 174 pounds. I don't have time to do the day to day thing. I do give it a lookin over every day thro. Biggest thing the grandkids, I, and all the passer bys seen. My garden is byside the road.

shouck65, your plant and pumpkin look great from what I could tell. You may want to terminate some side vines soon to get more fruit growth if you have not already done so.
What are you getting for daily gains ? If you are getting close to 20 pounds a day or more, you should easily hit your goal provided you stick to a spray schedule.
Good luck !!

You don't need to measure it twice aday. I just try to measure about the same time each day.
