Can someone please explain the need for the 'S' curve I am seeing referenced in various posts..? I am pretty sure it is to prevent vine split as the pumpkin moves as it grows..? How do you go about establishing this curve and if anyone can point me to a link for some reading, etc I would appreciate it.?
Thanks....Scall

Just to follow-up on this...I can't say enough about how helpful everyone has been via this website with seeds; tips; advice; my "frequent, maybe aggravating" questions/communications/e-mails; etc; etc; etc. In particular Peace Wayne; Jim G.(Orangeneck); Bill Rodonis; "The Borer"; et al. If you are a new grower and need anything to get started, this is the place to start. Thanks to all......Ian (Scall)
