Just curious is there any plants that should not be planted on the edges of the pumpkin patch?
I was thinking about putting in a few tomatoes and the cucumbers that climb up a fence?
Thanks PG

I put tomatoes at the perimeter inside the wind fence but I will never allow other cucurbits near the patch. It's just more for the cuke beetles to go after.

Sweet Corn makes a decent wind break.

I had considered sweet corm myself Jeff, but I don't want to attract racoons.
