Last season I had a plant that seemed very aggressive in all ways. This plant produced a lot of female flowers. I am going to say that I probably cut off 70 and possibly many more, babies on that plant.
Is it normal to see that many ?
My other plants did not even produce half of that amount. Just curious to hear what experieced growers say.

70 is a lot. some do have this genetic mutation occasionally. Or some times it's due to plant stress. A friend of mine grew one of my seeds once and he stopped counting females after he took off 150.

I had anywhere from 15 - 25 per plant on mine, I should say that I started them a lttle late.

atlantic giant plants are PUMPKIN MAKING NACHINES. its normal to produce many many pumpkins. the key is to grow only on the main and only pollinate a maximum of three to four starting at 10 ft (or so ) then your done pollinating.
