I have all my amendments from after my soil test ready to go into the new patch. I know phosphorous and potassium take a little longer to work into the soil they need to get in asap (they were very low levels).
My question is due to the solid ground an being unable to till due to the weather, has anyone ever just spread their amendments over the patch and let them just leech into the ground with the freezing and thawing. I'd hate to wait till early March and then not have the soil ready in time for late April at least for the P and K.
Thanks

wait until soil is thawed and dry enough to have amendments soaked in, otherwise they might just be washed away

Thanks Cornhusk, I'm going to spread them next decent thaw.
