I keep them in an envelope and in a dry spot.

i put them in ziplock bags within tupperware type containers. mine are plastic empty 4 x 8 inch plactic cylinders with lids used for making concrete test specimens. tupper ware or a ball jar would be fine. i use zip lock baggies with my top seeds in one and backups in the other inside the containers. then the containers go into the freezer. went 44 for 44 this year for germinations(most all for rookie growers) and never had a problem with storage with this method and germination rates. the freezer keeps them in a perfect setting of constant humidity and non-fluctuations of temps. and when germiantion time comes, they pop quickly with major the temperature change which is good to get them up as fast as possible without minor leaf cot rot during the germ. process.

use a freezer that doesn't self defrost for optimium results.
