When growers refer to circumference in general is that the widest part of the pumpkin parallel to the ground (stem to blossom and back) or is it the widest part on the pumpkin? I understand when using OTT that circumference is as mentioned above, but wasn't sure if there is a more general reference.
Thanks

Luke, Circumference measurements are made from stem end to blossom end and back to stem...parallel to the ground. With the massive variances in pkn shapes, and angles...this can be difficult at times. The idea that is stressed when doing circ. measurements is...parallel to the ground!!! Hope this helps! Grow em BIG!! Peace, Wayne
