Subject: i put the seed in upside down

i put the seed in upside down then when i went to correct it i pulled it up and broke the root it did not pop up out of the seed yet what are the chances it will grow a new root seed was 3 days old

I'm sorry to say it, but there is almost no chance of it forming another root.
A seed can sprout no matter how it is oriented in the soil if it is close enough to the surface. There is only an "upside down" because it can take a few hours longer to germinate.

I would guess 0% chance. Time to start your back-up seed(s).

thank you i wish i had known i would have left it alone it was a large root for only three days about three inches deep i didn't even see it till after i broke it
