Here's one easy way to build a hoop house. If you want more links, let me know. http://westsidegardener.com/howto/hoophouse.html

I started using this type of hoop house when I first seen it in JD's diary. Before I used pvc pipe.
I use cattle fencing , bend it to the shape I want and then cover it with 4m or 6m plastic.

In this photo in JD's diary he used a heavier gage wire that is used for concrete.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I have some cattle panel and that sounds like a pretty simple yet good way to make one thanks Brooks!

Brooks few questions. Does it need to be heated? and if not how much is the temperature difference without a light or anything?

I only heat mine with soil cables....make sure to open them on warm days and close at night.
